Alex Curran (now Gerrard) was born on 23 September 1982. She is an UK glamour girl and a WAG. She also works as a writer at Daily Mirror covering the latest trends in Fashion.

Before dating and marrying Stephen Gerrard, UK footballer, she was a nail technician who was dating a businessman while her current husband was dating another girl. In 2002, these four switched lovers and Curran tied the knot with Gerard. They've been together ever since and married in June 2007 in Cliveden House Luxury Hotel in Berkshire. Alex gave birth to 2 beautiful little girls named Lilly-Ella, born in February 2004 and Lexie, born in May 2006.

She lives in Formby, Merseyside and while her husband was away on tournaments in late 2007, her home was robbed. She was uninjured and four burglars only wanted a watch that Alex bought for her husband. Being a WAG made her prone to some controversy, especially in 2006, when she was arrested (but released on bail) for suspicion of assault. She also had disagreements with UK singer Jamelia over her status without her famous husband.

The column that she writes for Daily Mirror focuses on shopping and is promptly named "Go shopping with Alex Curran". By Times magazine, in 2007, before she married Gerrard, she was named an "uber Wag". In the same year she released a perfume named "Alex" that became the bestseller.

Alex Curran's interests include shopping at Cricket and other designer shops as well as watching her husband play. Being married to a famous footballer, gave her international stardom and an opportunity to have her own column, despite only having Maghull High School finished with no further education. With her work as a nail technician, she is an expert in nail art. She was quoted as saying that her life is nothing like the TV show, "Footballer's Wives" and that she doesn't have additional help. One of her most romantic moments in her life was the present in a form of an engagement ring that her husband designed himself.
